Restaurant Australia: Inviting the world to dinner

For generations people have travelled to Australia to experience our world-class nature and wildlife. Yet, remarkably, the appeal of Australian food and wine remains one of our country’s best-kept secrets.

We wanted to bring our culinary assets to the fore and demonstrate that our people, produce and scenery are the combined ingredients that make our food and wine offering truly unique.

Working with leading identities across the food, wine and tourism industries, we came up with the concept of ‘Restaurant Australia’; the idea that Australia could be the world’s greatest restaurant serving up the best and most unique food and wine experiences in remarkable locations every day.
